EGGLL is very excited to announce that we will be offering Winter Baseball Clinics starting in January 2024. Our goals for the winter clinics are as follows:

• The clinics will be run by EGGLL past/current coaches who will touch on baseball hitting, fielding, throwing and defensive techniques, etc.
• The clinics will also focus on developing pitchers and catchers, including proper mechanics, different pitches, arm care, framing/receiving pitches.
• Throughout these clinics we also want to focus on the importance of effort and working hard, having a good attitude, being a good teammate, good sportsmanship and other mental aspects of baseball. For example: Normalizing failure in the game of baseball and how failure can often teach us how we can improve.
• We want kids to enjoy themselves, have fun and walk away from these clinics feeling better prepared and excited for assessments and the 2024 baseball season.

The winter clinics will run for six (6) weeks for the following age group:

1. 10-12 baseball age who plan on playing AAA or Majors in Spring 2024 Season. Clinic session for this age group will be held every Wednesday from 6:30pm-8:30pm starting Wednesday, January 31, 2024, through March 6, 2024. Registration cost will be $30.00 per session.
2. 8-10 baseball age who plan on playing AA or AAA in Spring 2024 Season. This age group will have two (2) one (1) hour sessions held on Sundays starting on February 4^, 2024 through March 10, 2024. Registration cost will be $15.00 per session. Note: Parents/Guardians when registering your player(s) please only sign up for either the A or B session, and not both sessions on the same day. This will ensure more players in the community can attend these winter clinics.

The clinics will be held at The Titans Facility at 29 Kripes Road East Granby, CT and our league will have access to the entire facility. Each clinic session will be capped at 20 players, which will allow coaches to set up multiple stations to work on drills/skills and ultimately cut down on player downtime. Having less players will also allow for more one-on-one instruction when players need additional attention and/or help.
